Identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.

Request quotations, support the bid process, and negotiate competitive prices.

Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.

Generate procurement plans and periodic reports for management review.

Liaise with the UK Procurement team to source unavailable materials locally.

Build and maintain long-term partnerships with vendors.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and relevant data.

Evaluate, analyse, and provide constructive feedback on suppliers and pricing options.

Process purchase orders and generate ORFs for approvals.

Seek cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Maintain and regularly assess a preferred supplier log with rated categories.

Update and manage supplier lists, including qualifications and delivery timelines.

Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards.

Prepare and present procurement performance reports to management.

Oversee stores activities and inventory controls.

Collaborate with team members and the Operations Manager to meet business objectives.

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality to support the business needs.
