Plan, coordinate, and monitor warehouse operations (receiving, storing, dispatching, and inventory management).

Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper inventory controls.

Implement and enforce warehouse safety and security procedures.

Optimize space utilization and layout for efficiency.

Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff.

Ensure timely order fulfillment and on-time delivery.

Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for smooth operations.

Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance (inventory levels, stock discrepancies, damages, etc.).

Profil du poste

1. Technical and professional skills
• Education: 2-3 years of higher education in logistics or equivalent, inventory management, supply
chain, commerce, or equivalent (depending on the level of the position).
• Knowledge of inventory management : proficiency in FIFO, LIFO, FEFO, etc. methods.
• Proficiency in IT tools: Excel warehouse management software, barcode scanners, etc.
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory procedures.
• Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene related to handling and storage.
2. Organizational skills
• Ability to organize storage space (tidying, optimizing space).
• Management of incoming/outgoing goods and tracking of stock movements.
• Planning of receipts, deliveries, and periodic inventories.
• Reduction of losses and control of anomalies (damaged or missing products, etc.).
3. Interpersonal skills
• Supervising a team of warehouse workers/handlers.
• Effective communication with suppliers, carriers, and other departments (purchasing, production,
sales, etc.).
• Service-oriented and collaborative.
4. Personal qualities
• Rigorous, organized, and able to prioritize.
• Reliable and honest (as often handling expensive equipment).
• Able to work under pressure (e.g., during busy periods or tight deadlines).
• Responsive and good at problem solving.
5. Other possible criteria
• Professional experience in warehouse/logistics management (often required).
• Knowledge of customs regulations (if the warehouse handles imports/exports).
