Description du poste

Under the supervision of the Registrar, the incumbent will provide support to the Admission and Registrar Office.

Duties:
• Answer all incoming phone calls and handle inquiries courteously and efficiently.
• Receive visitors and prospective students, provide accurate information about academic programs, and direct them to the appropriate person or office.
• Perform data entry related to student course evaluations, information requests, and student records.
• Prepare and maintain mail merge documents, student correspondence, and file labels.
• Assist students in completing application forms and guide them through the entire admission process, ensuring a smooth experience.
• Review and verify applicant files for completeness and compliance with admission requirements.
• Organize, administer, and supervise admission or placement tests for prospective students.
• Evaluate applicants’ test results and academic records to assess their readiness and suitability for the selected programs.
• Prepare reports on testing outcomes and provide recommendations based on assessment results.
• Coordinate with academic departments to align admission standards with program requirements.
• Communicate important information to parents and applicants via phone or email.
• Participate in admission campaigns, student orientation, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Profil du poste

• Knowledge of university programs, services, and facilities.
• Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in computer equipment and software applications (e.g., MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, Internet browsers, etc.).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Languages: Fluent in English and French.
